Latin Boletus edulis Location Elan valley Date Early august Habitat Growing in ancient woodland.mostly amongst spagnum moss in oak woodland Notes Interestingly all were identified as edulis and I thought 2 could have been summer boletes. Unclear what the difference might be but suspect summer bolet is more different on stem than book descriptions suggest Differentiators White network on top of stem.
