Edge of track amongst fallen leaves, bracken. Below oak and chestnut.

Notes

Edible.

Thought it was bay bolete as bay bolet found close by and it bruises like a nay bolete however note the red streaking of the tapering stem and obvious pinkness exposed as the cap cuticle cracks
