Initially all white like destroying angel

Less white on day 2 and gills were less white also.

 

Differentiators

Lacked shaggy stem and lacked ring of a destroying angel. amanita are not the only species with volva.and whilst this is edible (but not worthwhile) it's not worth the risk.

Spore print would be pink for this Vs white of the destroying angel

Whilst r.phillips doesnt mention it, colins funghi specifically notes this grows especially on woodchip mulch.

Gills more pink (rosegill) than white.
